Mission Statement
The purpose of the Association is to provide information and communication relating to the most effective means of obtaining a favorable judgment or opinion in capital punishment cases and appeals and to provide information concerning the effective enforcement of such judgments and opinions in accordance with due process of law. In addition to the foregoing, the purposes of this Association are to provide sources of legal materials and resources among its members pertaining to capital punishment in the United States of America and to conduct regular meetings and seminars for education, training, and the exchanging of information.
Membership Requirements
Membership in the Association shall be open to any government attorney actively involved in full time prosecution of criminal charges or enforcement of criminal judgments. Membership shall be open, upon application to and approval by the Board of Directors, to any other government employees involved in the enforcement of criminal laws.
